Solutions for the Future

The main problem in the UK is the very large population, and population density. In the future, the government can try to promote post-secondary education for women as this will result in less births. They can do this by advertising campaigns for women's education, and providing scholarships or encouraging schools and associations to offer more scholarships. To decrease the population density, the government could promote emigration to British overseas territories, like Anguilla, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Turks and Caicos Islands, and the Cayman Islands. This will allow UK citizens to remain connected to the UK, but will actually be living outside of the UK. This will lower the population density in the UK, but won't really affect the economy too much because it will be promoting emigration to British territories. (U.S. Census Bureau)
